CS+X CENTER

Innovation District
All current programs are suspended while we work to establish a dynamic CS+X Center in downtown Champaign, which will serve as the anchor of a new Innovation District. The district will bring together direct service providers, citizen scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, and entertainers, in partnership with universities, school districts, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and corporations. Together, this consortium will advance fundamental and applied research, curate and disseminate knowledge, and test and deploy new technologies across diverse cultural, political, and entertainment contexts for responsible social change. It will also develop policy recommendations in response to our evolving environment, support philanthropic initiatives, and ensure that human-centered principles guide sustainable and equitable growth for healthy, livable urban communities.
