J-hope BTS has made history at Lollapalooza . J-Hope recently performed at Lollapalooza, an annual music festival that takes place in Chicago. He made history by becoming the first Korean artist to appear on the main stage of a major US music festival. Thanks to J-Hope, four tickets to the Lallapaloosa concert (GA, GA+, VIP, Platinum) were immediately sold out. The price for a VIP ticket is $550 (approximately (approximately 8 million rupiah) and a platinum ticket costs $2,000 (approximately IDR 30 million). During his performance at Lollapalooza J-Hope BTS performed a total of 18 songs, including songs from his new solo album 'Jack In The Box' his first mixtape 'Hope World' and 'Chicken Noodle Soup' (ft. Becky G), as well as BTS songs such Industry Email List as 'Bulletproof Pt. 1' and “Dynamite.' Towards the end of his performance, J-Hope shared, “Today is a meaningful moment for me because I can perform songs from my new album here. All of my [album] promotion schedule so far has been very enjoyable, and I've had the opportunity once again to perform in front of many people. Thanks to everyone who came to Lollapalooza to support me. This is a great honour.” Then on Tuesday (2/8/2022) after the Lollapalooza music festival really ended, J-Hope appeared on V LIVE, to greet his fans. He said, “Wow, it's really over. Thank you for giving me great support.” He then added, “I practiced every day for six hours. This is an important performance, and I don't want to tarnish BTS's name." J-Hope BTS then said he felt comfortable because Jimin was beside him and accompanied him while in Chicago. J-Hope admits that he always needs another BTS member. "Wherever I am, I need another member beside me." Jimin praised J-Hope for his performance at Lollapalooza, saying, “The concert was amazing. I think it's cooler than a BTS concert."
